Asymmetrical long reversible coat with an oversized Kimono cut, crafted from traditional antique Indian textiles using the Kantha technique.

Kantha is a traditional technique from Eastern India that involves layering several pieces of recycled cotton from antique saris and joining them with hand-stitched running stitches. These stitches not only reinforce the fabric but also create a characteristic rhythmic pattern. It’s an ancestral technique of upcycling and resourcefulness that has existed for centuries, long before we thought about it in the way we do now.

Regarding the design, these coats are a prime example of my style’s essence. I love to mix styles, blend the feminine with the masculine, trends, textures, and cultures. I believe that mixing always enriches. These kimonos aim to unite the two countries that likely have the most influence on my personality and are both similar and profoundly different: India, my beloved, and exquisite Japan.

With this design, I intended to create a Japanese Kimono structure and style, with body, but using a fabric that, for me, represents the richness and culture of India, which is Kantha. The result has been unique pieces that evoke a taste for Japanese aesthetics while possessing the opulence of India. A powerful blend that makes any outfit special.

As these coats are perfectly reversible, they offer two different styles in the same garment, combining unique prints and very special colors.

Each piece is unique, exclusive, and timeless, perfect for those seeking to dress with identity and character.

Patch pockets.

One size fits all.
