Antique ceremonial wedding dress typical of the Mahdia region in Tunisia.
Completely handmade from cotton and silk fabric. It is soft yet structured. Its design is distinguished by vertical stripes in vibrant silk colors representing joy, contrasting with black embroidery applied to strategic areas like cuffs, chest, and collar.
One of the most striking elements are the large, luxurious tassels in red, green, and orange, traditionally used as amulets to ward off the evil eye and for protection.
These pieces have great heritage value and are very difficult to find today.
