Semi-transparent kaftan dress, handmade in gauze. It is crafted by a local artisan who bases her designs on traditional Tunisian culture. The embroidery technique is directly on the gauze without using a frame. The branch and flower motifs are typical of the culture of Djerba in Tunisia.
The gauze is hand-woven with an open and irregular weave, typical of pieces made on a traditional loom, which gives it lightness and authenticity. In some parts, the gauze may present small openings or fraying, which are not defects but characteristics of artisanal weaving.
