Dupattas are the scarves that the women of Rajasthan wear with such harmony and beauty. They are large scarves that they use for everything, with which they cover themselves, with which they dry sweat, with which they sometimes tie their children. They are heritage, tradition, pride and culture.
These are made of silk-like fabric and hand-dyed using the reserve technique, which is why although they may look similar, they are all different. Each point is made manually by knotting the fabric and applying dye or bleaching to it in its case.
They are finished with silent bells or natural shells.
The result is these vibrant dupattas with as much strength as the women who wear them
